Playing it down

I went for the casual look today, giving the boots some airing after a looong vacation spent in the back of my closet. :) Some days I just cant be bothered dressing up, especially if Im running some errands.

It was raining today as well, had to take my photos in a hurry, so not the most exciting poses. :P
Burgundy coloured jeans are new, clearly I dont have much burgundy in my wardrobe. :)

Im trying out some other locations outside my home, what about the popular run down, scruffy looking building as background. :P Enjoy my rather rare rear view. *grins* I love these pants, fits like a glove. ;)

A close up as usual.

Another kittie crashing my party, meet miss Nelly. :)

A black bundle of joy that one. :)

What Im wearing:

Top from Boden
Burgundy jeans from Cubus
Boots from Art

Im linking up with What I wore Wednesday at The Pleated Poppy.

    1. Yea I try to wear colours even in my more casual outfits. :) Hehehe cute word rollypolly, havent heard it before. :)
Well she is a sweetheart but she is also very playful, when she is cuddling in my lap I quite often feel her teeth in my hand, biting me. She is two faced. ;)

  4. I though I recognized that beautiful Boden top! It really fits you so well, as does the jeans! Is Art a Norwegian brand? Those boots are cool!

What is it about our pets? Have they secretly been taking lessons from us? Miss Nelly is too cute!

    1. Thanks a lot Tine! You should really try Boden sometimes, Im sure you would look gooood in their clothes. :)

Art shoes is a Spanish brand in fact, similar style to El Naturalista. However their sizes run small so I have to go up one size.

Hehe I dont know whats gotten into my pets lately. ;) My favourite photo prop would be my doggie but she is never around when doing pics, she is off sniffing in the garden or something. :) I think I will have to bribe her with some cheesedoodles. :P

  5. This outfit is beautiful on you too. Amazing boots, patterned top, fitted silhouette, and flattering colours - that is a whole lot for a 'casual' outfit to accomplish!

Nelly has on a gorgeous velvety suit! :)

    1. Many thanks Amber! :) Hmm I havent thought of a casual outfit the way you describe it, but you are quite right. :) I dont pay many thoughts to my casual outfits compared to my more dressed up attires.. :)

Nelly is taking good care of her lifelasting velvety suit, hehehe. :)

  7. I love those boots, my beloved worn-to-death sandals are Art Company. And boy do those burgundy jeans fit you to perfection!
It's very interesting to see how bloggers from different countries feel about certain British brands, such as Boden and Dorothy Perkins. They appeal to a particular demographic here in the UK but I think their international sales are probably very different from their home markets.
Ahh, Nelly is a cutie, look at her circled at your feet! We have one who is purring and loving being stroked one minute, then biting you the next, little monster! xxx
