In the midi hour

Ah, I think I have found the perfect midi skirt! Midi skirts are one of my favourite items to wear, makes me feel all ladylike and elegant. :) I sometimes wish I was living in the 1940-50s when it was fashion and mandatory for women to wear skirt and dresses with a decent length. :) Not sexy you say? Well I beg to differ, its sexy in a more subtle way ( which I prefer anyway). ;)

Full and twirly, just my cup of tea! :) Ive dressed it down rather casually this time around, but I cant wait to play with it some more, endless ways of styling it I believe. :)

And it has pockets, yay! :) So where can you get this beauty you might ask. Its from H&M actually, I encountered it on the sale online, never seen it in the stores. And did I mention, its perfect to hide any post pregnancy baby bump and similar lumps. ;) Full score in my book! :)

This week Im on vacation or should I rather say staycation. :) Im off work for three weeks as my little girl is starting nusery/kindergarden. Today was her first day and it went rather badly. Lots of tears and she didnt feel at home at all with the other children and staff. :( Hopefully she will come around by the end of my vacation, it takes time to adjust from spending the days at home to the hustle and bustle at the nursery. Its really good for her to get out and spend some time with other children I believe. I didnt attend nursery when I grew up as there werent any and I was terrified of the other kids when I started preschool. In the end my shyness led me to be bullied by the other children, a fate I certainly dont wish for my little girl.
