All work and no play makes Monica a dull girl :)

Well hello there! Wanna come out and play?? ;) Im channeling my inner child for todays work outfit. :) Mind you I didnt wear the foxy knee highs to work, Im afraid that would have been to much to handle for my poor colleagues. :) After all Im not working in a nursery or at school. ;)

I love this newfound orange skirt which I bought in a local shop the other day, the colour, the fabric and the fit is just perfec! Im trying to stay off the novel print/pattern wagon and purchase more solids, its easier to mix and match with those.

I giggled myself silly taking these pics, goofing around like well  basically any child. ;) I can recommend to act like a child sometimes, it totally lifts your spirit. :)

Welcome 2015! Cheers for a foxy new year! :)

Happy New Year everyone!!! :) I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and may 2015 bring us all lots of happy times and precious moments. :)  Im eagerly awaiting which ups and downs life will throw at me in this new year. My work situation is about to change as my employer is busy reorganising so thats one thing Im both excited and worried about. I will know more in the end of January, not knowing is the worst.

Im back where I left you stranded sometime in November and as you can see Im not done with foxes, far from it. ;) hehehe Im so sorry for not having blogged at all during December but I have been terrible busy to say the least. Baking, cleaning, shopping pressies and attending  dinners and parties took all my energy and when the holidays began it really didnt calm down, Christmas must be the most exhausting holiday, sometimes it doesnt feel like a holiday at all. ;) But I did enjoy a couple of days off in between all the festivities.

One of my resolutions for the new year is to blog more often, Im usually knackered when the toddler is in bed and spending my me time in front of the telly or doing chores around the house. When I really should be into my hobbies like blogging and sewing.So many things to do so little time...Sometimes I really miss the old days when I had all the time in the world to do me things, but after a good nights sleep and waking up to a smiling toddler all is forgotten. ;)

Well who is she? Actually its me having a little makeover for a Christmas work dinner/party. :) I got to be Marilyn Monroe for one night and had a blast! :) The magic work of a hairdresser. :)

Foxy lady

Hia ladies! Long time no see! My computer let me down big time as one of the hard drives died.*Gaaaah* And needless to say it took some time to get my PC back on track and I lost all data stored on the hard drive. Booo! Well suits me right for not having a backup. ;) Ive learned my lesson now and have set up a regular backup session once a week. I wont let this happen one more time! Luckily none of my pics were on that particular hard drive but I lost some valuable data.

And yes there is a new fox in town or mutiple I should say. ;) I was after this dress when in Copenhagen this autumn but the shop was closed so I had it shipped to me instead. :) I love the fox print of course but the dress itself came up short, I prefer below knee or just above knee length. So I felt a little out of sorts when wearing it but my colleagues paid me so many compliments and jokes I might add. :) Somehow this dress made them laugh, so I was the talk of the office that day. :P
If you havent noticed already my cardi sticks to the term woodland animals as well, fox, squirrel and rabbit. So cute! :)

Yay! I have made my first toddler girl dress. :) Im really suprised it turned out so well. :) The sewing class has ended for now but Ive enrolled on a new class starting in January. Must keep up this sewing bee hobby as its so much fun! :)

Im currently sewing another dress using the same pattern as my first dress.  But this time around Ive chosen a non elastic cotton material, velour. Well thats it for now, see you soonish! :)

What does the fox say? :)

Howdy folks! :) Im back in a foxy edition this time. :) I believe youve all heard the superhit "What does the fox say" by the Norwegian comedy group named Ylvis. :) I find the song hilarious and quite catching as well so what better way to join the fan base by wearing a foxy outfit. :) And my daughter and I are matching, how cute is that. ;)

I couldnt believe my eyes when I spotted this dress online, I had to have it ASAP. :) My baby girl and I attended a Christmas lunch with my colleagues from work wearing these outfits and we got a lot of attention, hehe. :) and everybody started singing "ring ding ding dong hattey hattey ho".We had lots of fun! :)
