Hia! Sorry for being MIA, I blame RL as usual. :) I guess this will be my last post before the baby arrives. I have been off work for two weeks now (yay) one week of vacation/staycation and this week I just started my maternity leave. In Norway you get three weeks off from work before your due date, excellent arrangement I must say!
This is what I wore to work in my last week, had to make the most of it dresswise. :) I wont be wearing any fancy dresses for some time now when Im only pottering at home. :P Im in week 35 in these pics.
My ever increasing bump, I have trouble breathing and eating at this stage. :) Im currently in week 37, only three weeks left to my due date so I guess I just have to hang in there. I certainly feel like beached whale these days, really looking forward to get my body back and feel like myself again. And not to forget, what makes it all worthwhile, meeting my baby girl. I guess it could happen any day now, but I have a feeling she wont make an appearance until one week more or less before my due date ( 23th of July). She seems comfortable enough in her quarters for time being. ;)

Maternity style - week 32
Yay! Finally some sunny and hot weather, time to take my long ago invested maternity dresses for an airing. :) I had just been to my hairdresser for a haircut this day and she insisted to do my hair, making some vintage like curls. I really like em, makes a nice change from my ordinary day to day look. :) Im considering buying a straightening iron like the one used by my hairdresser.
Im looking more and more like a hippo these days and most of the time I feel like Im about to burst and I still have 7 weeks left to my due date. (!) Baby girl better scoot down soonish or I wont have any room left for food or worse be out of breath. Ah the joys of pregnancy! :)
A sideview, my cannon ball is very present! :)
Its so funny, from behind you cant even tell Im pregnant. ;)
A photo without the cardigan, I just wanted to show you the dress in all its glory. :) Its from Boden actually if you havent guessed already. ;) Of course I just had to buy a maternity dress or two from them. ;) This pic makes me giggle, I really look like the image of an expecting woman. :P
And finally a pair of close ups of my ever growing cannon ball. :)
What Im wearing:
Maternity dress from Boden
Cardigan from Mango

Maternity style - week 31 - still going strong!
Im back, larger than ever! :P and as promised, here is my new kitchen, I looooove it! :) I would say a typical scandinavian, country style look, perfect for our little farmhouse. :) Originally I wanted a more modern look but fell head over heels in love with this style and havent looked back since. :)
I feel like Im all bump these days with tiny legs and arms attached *giggles* I cant shake the feeling of stuffed turkey, its especially bad after meals, I certainly dont have any room left for food. ;) Oh well I will have to hang in there for another 8 weeks, *gasps* Im already starting to dread the upcoming labour, Im no good when it comes to dealing with pain, I guess epidural will come to my rescue although I will see how I do without first.
I finally felt inspired enough today to put on a dress and pop some colours, much needed these days as I have been getting lazy with how I dress. I really really miss my old body and cant wait to strut around in colourful dresses like I used to. But I guess casual clothes will have to do for a while after birth also, be patient my dear. :)
What Im wearing:
Maternity dress from Asos
Cardigan from Boden (SS13 collection)
Tights from Lindex

Beware of the bump!
Hia ladies! :) Im so sorry for my erratic blogposts, I have been really busy in real life and growing a baby is hard work I tell ya. ;) Im still working full time but then Im all out of energy by the end of the day, ending up as a coachpotato every evening. Besides being tired I have no other issues, cant complain really. :) But my bump has grown a lot in the past few weeks, hippostyle here I come. :P
Mum to be pose, hehehe. ;) Speaking of style, mine has been going down hill for sure after bump becoming humongous, I cant fit it in my regular clothes so have had to resort to maternity wear only, gaaah! More dull and dreary clothes are hard to find. Add to the fact that I dont own that many maternity outfits so Im on repeat stylewise. I have actually started to care less about my appearance, bump is not going to get any smaller and I have only 3 months left before I hopefully may bid goodbye to maternity wear, wont miss them for sure! ;)
Im very fortunate, Ive only put on 18 pounds for now, mostly around my waist and bump, keeping my slender/skinny frame. I really dont mind putting on weight, its good for me as Im too skinny. Im 27 weeks now, only one week left until Im in the last trimester and 6 months pregnant. :) Time flies!
A close up of my precious cannonball. ;)
What Im wearing:
cardi from Poem
maternity dress from HM
maternity leggings from Mamalicious
wellies from Ilse Jacobsen
Im adding another photo of cannonball, a snaphot in the bathroom at work.
Hubby and I have also been busy renovating our kitchen, we have been without kitchen for 4 weeks now, doing campingstyle indoors, Im really fed up with microwave food and take aways, not to forget doing my dishwashing in the shower. Our new kitchen is due to be delivered tomorrow so by the end of the upcoming week everything is back to normal kitchenwise. I cant wait!!

A sidewiev is in order, no more chubby belly, Im certainly looking pregnant by now and Im really happy to finally have grown a bump, hehehe. In fact I think Im quite huge already and I have still 20 more weeks to go, oh dear how will this work out. :)
What Im wearing: tunic-HM maternity -wellies - Ilse Jacobsen
Im still able to squeeze good ol bump in a few of my regular dresses, this is one example. :) I felt like celebrating the wonderful sunshine and promise of spring by wearing a yellow cardi and a flowery dress. :)
Im feeling great these days, if only being pregnant was this easy all the time. I really dont know whats in store for me for the following weeks but Im enjoying every day for now. :) We bought a stroller/pram for the baby yesterday and I cant keep my eyes from it less taking it for spin in my house. :)

Maternity style - week 15
Oh Boden how I love theeee! :) Im becoming more and more infatuated by Boden, its my favourite brand! :) I was lucky enough to snag not only one but three dresses on clearance sale, YaY! :) Jersey dresses are my love for life I think. ;)
I actually had to go up one size in this dress and it fits me like a glove, my normal size would have definitely been to tight. This dress runs small which is seldom the case with Boden but it happens. I would advice you to always pay attention to the garment measurements.
An aspiring bump I would say, hehehe :) At week 15 I still have no problem wearing my regular dresses and tights.
What Im wearing: Cardigan - HM - Dress - Boden drapey jersey dress (AW12) - Tights - Cubus - Boots - Art shoes
This is a new dress I bought some months ago but which I didnt wear pre pregnancy. I was wondering how it would look on as me being bumpy and all, cause its quite thight, but boy did I rock it :) I felt so proud strutting my bump (stuff) :)
Its a jersey dress which means its quite stretchy and I felt really comfortable all day long. I think this must be one of my favourite outfits, I love everything about it, the colours, shapes and pattern mix. :) Sometimes one just get it right. :)
What Im wearing: Cardigan - King Louie - Dress - Wow to go - Tights - Sneaky Fox - Shoes - Din Sko

Maternity style - week 14
Nothing like brighting up a grey winter day! :) I love this new dress of mine so joyful and fun and poppies are one of my favourite flowers. :) I had to take these pics in a hurry cause I was freezing to death, -12 C, Im certainly taking a bullet for the blog. ;)
Im loving the combination of orange, red and purple, puts a smile on my face. :)
No sign of a bump yet, Im getting really impatient, I want one NOW! :) This weird inbetween stage is boring, but at least my clothes still fit except for my trousers (skinnies) and I dont feel pregnant at all, hey little one, feel free to give me a nudge anytime. :P
What Im wearing: Top - Indiska - Dress (recent) - Indiska - Tights - Indiska - Booties - El Naturalista
Cold weather calls for knits, here is my second hand-knitted dress (not by me). Im particulary fond of the pattern across the chest. :) I found the knitting recipe for this dress at Ravelry.com, a great online resource for recipes for any kind of hand knitted garment.
Im trying to spice things up a bit by wearing stripey tights. ;)
What Im wearing: Hand-knitted dress - Weeruska pattern - Tights - Indiska - Boots - old

Maternity style - week 13
YaY, Im back in the game! :) Ive started working again after being on sick leave for some weeks, meaning I have to leave my comfy sweats at home and start dressing work appropriate. :) It feels good to be back at the office although Im still suffering from morning sickness from time to time, bleurgh! I so wish it was gone by now, but being pregnant is pretty unpredictable in terms of ailments. Despite being sick and all Im really really happy and grateful for my bump and cant wait to meet my mini me in July. :)
At 13 weeks I have no problem fitting my regular clothes, I havent gained any weight (rather the opposite) and I think I will be able to use my clothes for some weeks still, at least I hope so. Being pregnant is so going to cramp my style. :P *hehe*Im at the stage where Im only wearing dresses as that is the most comfortable option. Luckily I have quite a few jersey dresses which are quite stretchy so hopefully they will see me through the 2.trimester. I have already started to look for maternity clothes, Im stalking ebay for that reason. :)
So bump, where the heck are you? :P *hehe* No bump to show off at the moment Im afraid. ;) It only looks like I have a food belly or something.
What Im wearing: Knitted dress - Boden - tights - H&M - shoes - Din Sko
Its been quite cold lately, -5-10C so perfect weather to wear one of my handknitted wool dresses. I havent knitted this myself, Im a total mess at handicrafts so I rather pay someone to knit items for me. ;) I love the style and look of this dress, its an Icelandic pattern.
What Im wearing: Knitted dress - Klukka - Booties - El naturalista
