Spot(s) on :)

One year older and none the wizer. :P Im slowy proceeding on my way to the big four nill, hopefully the remaining years will go by slowly. ;) My mind is still set at 25 though. ;) *grins* Oh well nothing can be done, I will try to make the most of it. :)

I was feeling spotty today and it was freeeeeezing cold this morning, only 5 C!!!!!!!! That left me with no choice than to layer up, which I dont mind actually. :) So I grabbed spots, plaids, denim, blue, red and whatnot. Im actually feeling a little cowgirlish in this ensemble, can you see me linedancing allready? :P

A close up as usual. :)

Uhm, how you doin? ;) just me and my camera having a moment, hahahahahaa *lol*

Oooooo some tush action there :P My my seems like Im on a roll tonight. *coughs*

Megan  from The Fashionable Bureaucrat was so kind to award me with the Liebster award, thank you! :)
"The Liebster award is given to upcoming bloggers who have 200 followers or less. The meaning of Liebster in German is sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing and welcome".  She sent me 11 tricky questions though, I will try to answer accordingly. :)

Answer to Megan`s 11 questions:

1. Where would you bury hidden treasure if you had it?
I would probably hide it in my closet, none would be able to see past my collection of clothes. :P
2. Do you currently have all your organs?
Yup, still here last time I checked. :)
3. For a pet, would you rather have a crow, a fringed lizard, or a taxidermized wolf?
Oh, my I would prefer none as my pets but I would go for a living creature, so crow it is *freaking out*
4. Slips - yes or no?
    Slips are useful.
5. If you could hire one of the following for one year which would you hire? House cleaner, personal chef, massage therapist
House cleaner for sure, I hate doing domestic chores.
6. Fruit pie, cream pie or cheesecake?
    Cheesecake.
7. If you were on Jeopardy and got the Daily Double, would make it a true daily double?
I havent watched Jeopardy since late ninties and not the American one, so Im not able to answer this.
8. Did you ever wear braces? If yes, are your teeth still straight?
    Nope, consider myself lucky. :)
9. Favourite decade - 1970s, 1980s, or 2000s?
Hey, what about the 90s?? :P Well I met my significant other in 2003 so I guess 2000s is the correct        answer. :)
10. Do you prefer routine or variety?
     Routine.
11. Do you sleep with your bedroom door open or closed?
      Closed of course.

and now on to fun (or boring) facts about yours truly:

1. Im a total abstainer, I dont drink or smoke.

2. Im living on a farm.
3. Im a gamer, mostly MMORPG`s like Lotro and such. No I dont play WoW. :P
4. Im an observer and prefer to stay in the background, not always so easy when I dress the way I do, a bit contradicting there. :)
5. Im a horserider, owner of two horses in my younger days.
6. Im a huge doglover, my french bulldog girl is my sunshine, she makes me laugh all the time. :)
7. As soon as I get home from work, I change into jogging/tracksuits pants and sweaters. I wont let my pets ruin any of my pretty clothes. :)
8. I hardly wear any makeup, only for going out, parties and such, not even for work. :P
9. One of my favourite sparetime activites is to peruse the internet for new treasures in my wardrobe. :)
10. I dont have any children yet but still hoping someone will turn up. :)

What I wore Wednesday: a red number

Oh how I love thee, red shirtdress with a full skirt *weeeeeeeeee* Shirtdresses are my best option when it comes to dresses, no doubt about it. :) This red baby sets me on fire *lol* I got it in the sale for next to nothing, Ive also bought the same dress in navy/white dots.

Well further down you see an example of 5 inches of heel *gulp* but they are amazingly walkable. Its my first pair of rocket sky heels, and I havent tripped once, but struggled quite a bit when taking these photos, had to leap back and forth to turn on my timer (dont have an remote). Hard work I tell ya, keeping me on my feet. :P not a pretty sight :P

Im crazy about the pinkish colour and tweed pattern. I didnt wear these heels to work cause I dont think they are office appropriate due to their height, I feel like an amazon when I put them on as Im already quite tall. ;) But I will wear them at my birthday party this weekend, my mum will have a fit when she sees them. :P

A close up.

I chose these black, mid heels for work, I think they do the job. :)

Another close up.

What I wore:

Dress from Ellos (recent/sale)
Belt from Mango (sale)
Pink platform court shoes from New Look (recent)
Black shoes from Boden (recent)

Back in the saddle

Yeehaaa, Im finally feeling it. :) Summer and especially holidays do nothing for my creativity, I tend to get lazy when it comes to outfits. I have not felt quite at home in the last posts but now Im finally back where I belong - colourclashing like a madman/woman. :P

Perhaps Ive just missed playing around with coloured tights. Im well aware of the season but I just wanted to   take a dip and wallow myself in lovely autumnal colours. Im getting tired of bare skin, time to cover up. ;)
I owe everything to a very generous and kind lady living in UK who purchased and shipped this dress to me, Im sooo lucky to have this lovely frock in my wardrobe. :)

A close up, im quite fond of mixing prints. :) How cute are those swallows. :)

I cant get enough of pleated bottoms, I just hope and pray that they stay in, how the heck am I goin to iron them back? :P

I love these shoes, they have lingered in my wardrobe for several years, hardly worn, just waiting for the right moment I guess. ;)

What Im wearing:

Cardigan from HM (new)
Dress from Matalan (new)
Tights from Lindex (new)
Shoes from Bianco (old)

EBEW : Monochromatic

Who doesnt love a style challenge? :) Everybody Everywear  - EBEW - are hosting a style challenge today, theme being monochromatic. :) Im signing up wearing my favourite colour above all, TURQUOISE. :) The monochromatic look is all about wearing one colour in different shades, in my opinion quite a challenge. :)

Im not sure I fit the bill but what the heck, its really fun to dress up in one colour. :) I havent done this before and Im not sure I would wear this to work, a bit too matchy matchy for my taste. ;)

A close up, you have seen most of this outfit not too long ago. Cardi, top and shoes are different from last time.

Oh well I did my toenails last night, oh dear how hard can it be to put on some nail polish........*sighs* Lets just say I spilled red nail polish all over the place....*gaaaahhh*

Well I managed to get some red on my totties. I would really appreciate any advice on how to put on nail polish and make it look good?? Besides that Im really feelin the red & turquoise combo here, stunning! :) Alrighty, enough of this turquoise overdose. ;)

What Im wearing:

Cardigan from Dorothy Perkins
Top from unknown brand
Skirt from Noa Noa
Bloomers from Noa Noa
Shoes from Pataugas

Back to work : red and swirly

My first day back at the office after three weeks off, rough day *ugh* :P I stayed up late watching the Olympic closing ceremonies. I totally loved it, 3hours sing a long, very British. :) I even got to see the Spice Girls reunite, yay *LoL* My favourite part being Fatboy Slim and his gigantic jellyfish *dance*

Im sorry for the squinting look, too much suuuuuun. ;) Which I dont mind naturally, seems like summer is paying us a 2 days visit. ;) I should have worn my sunglasses oh well....Im not sure I like how I look wearing sunglasses, I feel stupid. :P

A closeup, I love the cutouts in the top, makes it stand out. :) And Im all about standing out outfitwise *giggles*

Another love of mine, swirly skirts. :) I love how the wind grabs and let go. :P

My new sandals, I have been on the lookout for gladiator sandals and I stumbled upon a pair in Denmark. My toenails are in desperate need of colour, so I headed to the mall today and bought me a brigh red nail polish from Essie, named Fifth Avenue. Im not really into nail polish but its growing on me and I cant wait to do my toes later tonight. ;)

What Im wearing:

Top from HM (brand new)
Maxiskirt from Primark
Sandals from Fly London (new/sale)

What I wore Wednesday - more holidays

Another outfit from when we were on hols in Denmark. My hols are coming to an end sadly, this is my last week, headed back to work on Monday.*booo* The last two weeks we have just stayed at home, a staycation. I like to travel but I like even better to return home, Im  a homebody at heart. :)

I have been thoroughly enjoying my staycation, just pottering about, doing next to nothing, until my significant other got this idea that we should paint our house. Not my idea of a fun holiday activity for sure!! *grumbles*
In Norway we live in houses made by wood and we need to repaint them once in awhile. Its been 6 years since last time we did our house, so I guess it was time. Well lucky for me the weather hasnt been ideal for painting, lots of showers so I have gotten away with only a few hours in my painting gear. :P  Alas the weather seems to be perking up this coming weekend, I guess I will be spending my last days in freedom painting my ass off. :P

The background in my pics are from a beautiful lake area in the city of Haderslev. We spent a day here just strolling around like one does on holiday. ;) Oh I nearly forgot, yea I did some shopping in Denmark but in a much smaller scale than usual. My hubby was quite impressed by me. ;) *laughs* I did however bring home with me a pair of gladiator sandals from Fly London and a pair of purple flats (both on sale) from another brand. I also bought a tunic/shirtdress on sale from Desigual. Well Im hardly suprised as I do most of my shopping online these days, my local shops are less interesting to me.

I also wore the same outfit to work the week before hols, with the exception of the shoes. Im madly in love with these green/turqouise pumps. :)

What I wore:

Cardigan from Dorothy Perkins (new/sale)
Dress from M&Co (new/sale)
Flats from Vagabond/ pumps from Pataugas

What I wore Wednesday - Holiday edition

Im back from a wonderful holiday in Denmark. :) Looking for the sun?? Well I found it hiding in Denmark, who would have thought. ;) We enjoyed temperatures as high as 29-30 C, best to curl up at the beach and let the sun work its magic. :) I even got a tan which is rare for me. :P

We rented this house for a week, it was situated a five mins walk from the beach, perfect! :) The surrounding garden was huge, my sister in law`s baby girl roamed the place. ;) We even bought a little paddling pool for here to play in, she was over the moon of excitement. :)

Well enough chit chat, on to the outfit related stuff. :) We visited the city of Sønderborg during our week, I just love that city, especially the castle and harbour area, its so beautiful there. :) This time around we were greeted by the Danish Royal Yacht, a beautiful ship from some years back I believe, I love the white tack with red border. :)

The Danish flag, "Dannebrog" fluttering in the warm air. :)

On holidays I tend to put less effort in dressing up, resorting to more casual outfits. At this point I was allready melting in 25C, I dont understand why I brought a cardigan with me at this sunny day. Well it didnt stay on for much longer. :) Even my leggings felt restraining, havent felt that for ages. :P

I just had to show you my favourite part of the leggings, the red stripe. :)

I also wore the same outfit to work the week before we left on holiday. I have replaced the navy cardi with a red one. I love dresses with a full skirt. :)

Me and my 4legged pride and joy. :) We make a cute couple. ;)

What I wore:

Denimdress from Lindex (new/sale)
Navy cardigan from HM
Red cardigan from Louche
Leggings from Lindex
Flats from Vagabond
