Maternity style - week 14

Nothing like brighting up a grey winter day! :) I love this new dress of mine so joyful and fun and poppies are one of my favourite flowers. :) I had to take these pics in a hurry cause I was freezing to death, -12 C, Im certainly taking a bullet for the blog. ;)

Im loving the combination of orange, red and purple, puts a smile on my face. :)

No sign of a bump yet, Im getting really impatient, I want one NOW! :) This weird inbetween stage is boring, but at least my clothes still fit except for my trousers (skinnies) and I dont feel pregnant at all, hey little one, feel free to give me a nudge anytime. :P

What Im wearing: Top - Indiska - Dress (recent) - Indiska - Tights - Indiska - Booties - El Naturalista

Cold weather calls for knits, here is my second hand-knitted dress (not by me). Im particulary fond of the pattern across the chest. :) I found the knitting recipe for this dress at Ravelry.com, a great online resource for recipes for any kind of hand knitted garment.

Im trying to spice things up a bit by wearing stripey tights. ;)

What Im wearing: Hand-knitted dress - Weeruska pattern - Tights - Indiska - Boots - old

Very cute dresses! I love poppies, too - they're so bright and cheery. And the pattern on the knit dress is adorable. Keep warm!

We are style sisters as I am living in dresses now, especially knit ones! I love the detailing and color of the second one, and the poppy one is so bright and cheerful, especially on a blah and cold winter day! You look great; you are obviously feeling better. :)

  3. The poppy dress is a beauty, it's good to rachet up the colour on freezing wintry days, I think! The knit dress is so cute, you are so long and lean and leggy, you look like a supermodel, Monica!
I am trying to remember when I first felt my babies moving... I think it was around 16-18 weeks or so. It's so exciting to feel that fluttering sensation! xxxx

    1. Aaaw youre sweet Curtis! :) Im really flattered but Im far from resembling any supermodel. ;) I do have long legs though but a short torso and a chubby face, really unproportional. :) I cant wait to feel the little one, still havent felt any fluttering or such..

  5. Love your poppy dress and those amazing red boot-shoes. The blue sweater dress is also lovely. That is a great color next to your porcelain skin.

  6. Congratulations on the pregnancy Monica! It's great to see you back. Didn't Duchess Kate suffer from the same sort of sickness? She went to hospital, not nearly as tough as you! You look wonderful, I really love those red colours on you! And I admire you taking the photos outside in minus 12 degrees!

    1. Aaaw thank you Tine dearie! :) Yup its me and Kate you know, hehehe :) I think we are due in the same month as well. :) In fact she must have been way of worse than me, ending up in hospital, poor Kate. I did feel terribly sick but didnt throw up a lot, but I did loose weight which is reallt bad for me as Im too skinny already.

  7. Monica, you made me smile with memories of my own long ago pregnancy. There was actually a stage at the end when even the few maternity clothes I bought didn't fit anymore, and I could only wear one ginormous jumper :P You are so pretty and willowy in your poppies and beautiful blue knit - and glowing! I admire you for going outside for pics - I can't even go out when it's 40 degrees for pics :o

    1. Aaaww how sweet of you, Im so happy I made you smile. :) Yea Im kind of curious how this bump thing is gonna work out. :) Well I prefer to take my pics outside due to the light and more accurate colours. If its cold so be it. :P

Hello! I just searched for that lovely Indiska dress you're wearing in the first pictures. I've tried to find it here in Finland, but obviously Indiska doesn't sell them anymore. Could you tell me what's the name of the dress (if there is a name for it!) so I could try to find that some online shop..? :) ps. you have an awesome style!
