White Stuff - Grey grouse skirt and a little bit of sewing

Howdy! Im feeling groused out to day but in a good way! :) My new skirt from WS featuring pretty big birdies has finally arrived. I love the grouse but they look more like pigeons to me. ;) I snatched it up in the sales, its the best feeling buying stuff on sale. If I had to I would have purchased it at full price though , wouldnt let this fly away. ;)

Such a lovely, sunny day when the photos were taken. I know Im breaking all kinds of photography rules taking pics in direct sunlight, casting shadows and whatnot, but I dont care. :) I guess you are not here for my excellent skills as a photographer getting by with my poor compactcamera. ;) Im running a low budget blog, hahaha. ;)

My porch from a different view. :) Alas no leaves on the trees and bushes yet but Spring is coming. :)

What Im wearing:

Top from Noa Noa (old)
Cardigan from H&M (old)
Skirt from White Stuff (recent - sales)
Shoes from Din Sko (ancient)

Another dress down for my little girl!Seems like joining a sewing class is finally starting to  pay off, Now I just need to figure out how to make this dress on my own at home. *clueless* :P hehehee

  1. You made that dress? It is sooooooooo cute! Love it. Please tell me you will show it off on your daughter!

You can totally make that at home. Trust me. Just take it one seam at a time, step by step, pressing while you go, and you will be done before you know it!!! Don't get overwhelmed by all the steps, remember!!!

    1. Hi Dina! :) Yup made by me. ;) Yea I will take a picture of my daughter wearing it. :) It might look at bit big cause I made it in a size larger than the one she is currently using.
Yes Im gonna try to make a similar dress at home, yes seam by seam there you have me. ;) If I get stuck in the process I can ask my sewing teacher for help, well at least as long as Im attending the sewing class. Thank you for being so supportive Dina! :)

I like your low budget blog! :-) It is just not as much time to visit blogs anymore. I am impressed that you have time to blog! I am also impressed that you look so clean and stylish! I have to clean up both my little man and myself several times a day, so when we do not plan to leave the house, I wear old tees. Very boring, but I don't want to ruin my previous clothes! The dress you made is adorable!

    1. Dear Anna, how lovely to hear from you!! :) I hope you and your little family are all good. :) Thank you for sticking by my blog, means a lot! :) Heh I hardly have time for blogging, but I find the time since its one of the few hobbies I have left after becoming a mum. I love blogging so much I refuse to give it up. :) That said I didnt blog much during my maternity leave but as my daughter has grown older things have settled down. :) She is also a really good sleeper, its easy to put her to bed and she sleeps through the night. Im so lucky I know. ;) I mainly blog int the evenings when she is sleeping. Well believe me these outfits on the blog are my work clothes, I dont wear these at home around my toddler. ;) I usually throw on some old rags when I get home from work. ;) Like you I dont want to ruin my precious clothes. :)

    1. Aaaw thanks Megan! Youre too kind! :) Yea my dream is to make identical dresses for myself and baby girl. :) However Im not here yet, with my current sewing skills it takes forever just to whip up a dress for my toddler. I hope that will change once Im more familiar with the sewing pattern. ;)
