Office babe

Im sporting my new pencil skirt from HM, love at first sight it was. :) I hardly have any pencil skirts in my wardrobe cause I have been afraid of them being too bootylicious to wear at work. I know pencil skirts are actually considered appropriate work wear but at my workplace they are scarse. :) I think its due to my office having a casual dresscode and people tend to think that skirts like these are wayyyy to dressed up. :P

Well its high time someone sets the stakes higher, I stribe to make my work environment more feminine and dolled up. :P I guess Im the "office babe" :P Heheheeee Well I dont exactly fit the bill, me wearing no makeup. ;)

My mustard cute shoes from the side, I love em! :) Im currently lusting after another pair similar to these but in green and purple.

Rocking plaids

Every once in a while I feel the need to take a break from my ususal dress/skirt routine, to shake things up a bit. ;) Bring on skinny jeans, ankle boots and a top of some kind and Im good to go. :) I feel more edgy and sassy in skinny jeans than in pretty dresses, hehehee. Epic fail - do not wear white socks with this ensemble :P My leg is pale alright but not bleaching white. ;)

This is my first biker jacket, not real leather though. :P I really like this burgundy colour, didnt think it would suit me but looks ok I think.

Open jacket, heh not the most fierce look/pose Ive got goin, hehehhe but believe me Im not always a goody two shoes in pretty dresses. :P

Tossed the jacket, I love love love this plaid shirt, I wish I had more plaid garments in my wardrobe.

Catfight

uh oh no Im not the one taking part in a catfight, Im way to chicken for that. :P Do you remember my black bundle of kitty joy? Last week we discovered a nasty wound on her thigh, off to the vet the next day. Apparently she got bit by another cat, I bet she got in a fight with one of the stray cats lurking around, in fact I know so cause today I caught them in the act. I came to her rescue and screamed my lungs out at the stray cat. He ran off the minute he saw me. ;)

Cute kitty alert!! :) My kitty who got injured have been kept indoors all week, happy as a camper on drugs cause she got a nasty infection in the wound. She was out of sorts the first days but now she is back in business. :) She will stay on antibiotics for another 5 days but she is off her painkillers. The wound is healing well too. I have never seen a catbite before let alone an infected one so this was a new experience. Im glad it  wasnt anything more serious although poor kitty was truly in pain. I hope it wont happen again.

Well enough kitty chat, onto outfit related stuff. :) Im so thrilled, got some new bootsies in rust, I love this years autumnal fashion colours. :) The bootsies fit like a glove on my chicken legs, such boots are soooo hard to come by so I couldnt walk away. :) I know this pic is rubbish but never mind my face being washed out, look at my pose instead. :P

Another rubbish pic, but wanted to show you how the bootsies look from the side. :) At least we got SUN! :)

Everything in this outfit is old except the boots. Hmmm I must really like this cardigan, think I have worn it more or less in every outfit lately *ahem*. Its a stripey thing, goes with everything! ;)

I feel most at home in my floofy, swirly dresses and Im only missing the apron from being 50s housewife. :) Mind you I would make a terrible housewife other than looking the part. :P My domestic skills are nothing to write home about, Im lousy at making dinner but at least I make decent cakes. ;)

I have the same dress in red as well, previously seen here. Im so glad I bought them both, Im really really fond of them and can see me wearing them lots and lots. :)

Another kitty party pooper, this time its my parents old cat which they left with us when they moved to the city. You see Im living in the same house where I grew up and the farm is my fathers but soon to be ours - me and mr. Izzywizz ( in a few months).

I even signed up as a VIP customer, having access to the webshop at 6.pm this evening but I had to wait in que for more than 1,5 hours before I got in, and by then everything was sold out.........I have a new chance at midnight but then the shop will be open to everyone, talk about online ques then *djeeeeeeeeeeeeez* Some shops will open early tomorrow but then I will be at work......*ponders*

I love wearing red during autumn, make the rainy days more bearable. :) Luckily I got a few pics inbetween showers. I really dont mind the rain though, love to slouch indoors under a blanket with candles lit and in the company of a good book, my ipad or some telly. :)

Uh oh Im lost for words tonight, Im terrified as Im going to the dentist first thing tomorrow, cant think of anything else. :( I really hate hate hate hate hate to see the dentist as Im so scared shitless, Im on the verge of throwing up the minute I set my foot at the dentists. Oh this is going to be a sleepless night......

Im showing off my neweest shoe love, clearly a pair of burgundy t-bars were missin in my wardrobe. ;) Everything else is old stuff, but I feel thrilled when I come up with new ways to style them, beats the feeling of a new item in fact! :) I must really shop my closet more often!

One year older and none the wizer. :P Im slowy proceeding on my way to the big four nill, hopefully the remaining years will go by slowly. ;) My mind is still set at 25 though. ;) *grins* Oh well nothing can be done, I will try to make the most of it. :)

I was feeling spotty today and it was freeeeeezing cold this morning, only 5 C!!!!!!!! That left me with no choice than to layer up, which I dont mind actually. :) So I grabbed spots, plaids, denim, blue, red and whatnot. Im actually feeling a little cowgirlish in this ensemble, can you see me linedancing allready? :P

    I would probably hide it in my closet, none would be able to see past my collection of clothes. :P

    Yup, still here last time I checked. :)

    Oh, my I would prefer none as my pets but I would go for a living creature, so crow it is *freaking out*
4. Slips - yes or no?
    Slips are useful.
5. If you could hire one of the following for one year which would you hire? House cleaner, personal chef, massage therapist
    House cleaner for sure, I hate doing domestic chores.
6. Fruit pie, cream pie or cheesecake?
    Cheesecake.
7. If you were on Jeopardy and got the Daily Double, would make it a true daily double? 
    I havent watched Jeopardy since late ninties and not the American one, so Im not able to answer this.

    Nope, consider myself lucky. :)

    Hey, what about the 90s?? :P Well I met my significant other in 2003 so I guess 2000s is the correct        answer. :)

     Routine.

      Closed of course.

1. Im a total abstainer, I dont drink or smoke.
2. Im living on a farm.
3. Im a gamer, mostly MMORPG`s like Lotro and such. No I dont play WoW. :P
4. Im an observer and prefer to stay in the background, not always so easy when I dress the way I do, a bit contradicting there. :)
5. Im a horserider, owner of two horses in my younger days.
6. Im a huge doglover, my french bulldog girl is my sunshine, she makes me laugh all the time. :)
7. As soon as I get home from work, I change into jogging/tracksuits pants and sweaters. I wont let my pets ruin any of my pretty clothes. :)
8. I hardly wear any makeup, only for going out, parties and such, not even for work. :P
9. One of my favourite sparetime activites is to peruse the internet for new treasures in my wardrobe. :)
10. I dont have any children yet but still hoping someone will turn up. :)
11. I love costume/period drama.

Colour blocking

I love to play around with colours in my outfits, Im especially fond of colourblocking and this month's theme at EBEW suits me just fine. :) If you havent allready guessed, its colour blocking. ;)
