Back in business

Hia! I started work last friday and it felt really good! :) Since it was friday and all I went for the casual friday look on my first day back. :) You may notice I look a bit more top heavy around my butt, thighs and stomach, yup I have put on a pound or lets say a few. Courtesey of staying at home and nibbling sweets all day long, ooops. I have taken up exercising, going to the gym twice a week since New Years but it doesnt show.....yet. ;)

Im pleased for gaining weight since I was too skinny before (in my opinion) Now I look like a normal person, still slim but with a muffin top I really dislike. Seems its not going away anytime soon despite my sweating at the gym. Having a baby and approaching the big four nill in two years time seem to have hit me hard. I knew my body would change after having a baby but Im not in favour of all the changes. I guess I just have to embrace my new body, after all it supported me through pregnancy, birth and nursing and for that Im forever grateful.

Anyway I really enjoyed my first day back at work, I felt a sting in my stomach when I left home that morning, missing my little one and wondering how she would get on with her dad for a whole day. But no need to worry, they did great at home and I was so busy at work I didnt get the chance to miss my baby (uhm hardly at baby anymore at 10 months of age) at all.

My favourites from the preview Boden autumn collection 2014

Hi there! Im slowly starting on my return to the world of style blogs, what better way to start than have a look at whats cooking at Bodens come autumn. ;)
I must admit Im a little disappointed, for the first time since I heard of Boden I havent found any dress or skirt droolworthy. *sob* Not even a shirt dress, * sigh*. Unless there are some goodies to be released later on, I wish. Boden shame on you! ;)
But luckily I found some items worthy of my attention *hah*, quirky prints in knitwear and tops, me like!

Pattern jumper in citronelle. I love the acidgreenyellow colour but most of all the cute little birdies.

Intarsia plaid jumper - fuchsia.  I love the pattern and the colours put together. A stand out jumper!

Printed shirt - rose sausage dogs. How cute is this print?? :) I love all things animal print, sausage dogs tick my buttons but it should have been frenchies (french bulldog) instead. ;) hehe

Must have tunic in corporal green deer. I normally dont wear tunics but couldnt let this pass unnoticed, I cant resist pink deers, adorable!

Fashion pointed pump in beetroot patent. I love the look ot this flat patent shoe, the beetroot and hot pink simply stunning!

Hi ladies! Im so sorry for the current no show for months but I have some good news for you. :) I will be back at work in May and back to dressing up as well. ;) I cant wait! :) Although Im really enjoying staying at home with my little one, Im looking forward to get back in the swing of things at work. I guess being a working woman does mean a lot to me, so Ive really missed work these last months. The best of two worlds for me - having a job and having a kid/kids. :) My hubby will be a stay at home dad for three months when Im back at work. :) Yes here in Norway men are on maternity leave (paid) as well. :) One of  many perks of living in Norway. :)

Until then you might have a look at some of my latest purchases, Im all about quirky/animal prints, how have I managed this long without a whale in my wardrobe, go figure? ;)

And I cant help myself, here are some cute pics of my little babycakes ( 7,5 months). ;) <3
